This project provided for select interior renovations to The Krannert Art Museum Kinkead Pavilion, including the replacement of MEP equipment, upgrades to fire and security systems, and interior wall and ceiling finishes. In addition, exterior renovations included a new outside air damper, building envelope repair, and replacement of windows and glazing, including their associated blocking and insulation.
Renovation and reinstalment of the museum’s permanent display of ancient Andean art from 1988, creating thematic sections defined by interior architecture, and better presenting exhibits, including more “in-the-round” circulation of artwork. It includes improved mounting and securing surfaces for painting on the walls and at each on-the-floor display, as well as digital elements. This renovation project took place in the north gallery on the lower level of the Krannert Art Museum Building.
