This $8.4M project constructed new soccer and track-and-field facilities on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus. The new Demirjian Park features two soccer fields—one for competition and one for practice—located east of the track and field complex, which was also renovated. The stadium includes facilities for women’s soccer, men’s track and field, and women’s track and field. It includes locker rooms, video and meeting rooms, lounge and study spaces, sports medicine and nutrition facilities, and coaches’ offices. In addition, the stadium features dual grandstands that provide sightlines to both the soccer and track venues, as well as permanent restroom and concession facilities.
